Welcome to the Troop 98 webpage

Welcome to our troop’s website. Troop 98 is affiliated with the Raccoon River Valley District of the Mid-Iowa Council, Boy Scouts of America. Our troop’s philosophy is one of building character in young men through the principles of the Scout Oath & Law. We love high adventure! From wild cave exploration, to alpine skiing, to whitewater rafting, our Scouts participate in a variety of challenging activities. So, if you’re looking for a troop that’s all about fun with a purpose, then Troop 98 is for you. And don’t ever forget – character counts!

Troop 98 is sponsored by the Urban Heights Evangelical Covenant Church and we meet on Thursday evenings.  See the Troop Calendar link for meeting and activity dates.
